Can you believe it?…FOR SALE!

YES! You CAN OWN this sporty AWARD WINNING 1957 OVAL RAGTOP!

It is NOW FOR SALE!

This immaculate low milage 1957 Oval Sun Roof came to me from Pueblo, CO.   There was virtually no rust when I  disassembled this beauty for a complete restoration in 2000.  The rear clip had been replaced before I purchased it. This car is very straight.

My restoration included a 1641 Single Port built by Painter’s Grinding in Denver, replacing the original 36 HP engine, which is included with your purchase of this car. The Single Port 1641 is full of torque, and strong running.

The transmission was replaced with a rebuilt from a ‘67. The taller gears are great for highway cruising.

Other modifications include an adjustable beam, 4 new shocks, plus dropped spindles on the front.

In addition the brake system was rebuilt, the engine tin and fan shroud were powder coated, and the electrical system was converted to 12V. The original Motorola Radio is there for looks but at this time is a non-working accessory.

The Interior has the ’57 vintage style Mohair headliner, German Square Weave carpet, and reproduction rubber floor mats. The period-correct upholstery and interior panels are from West Coast Classics. The Stayfast Canvas ragtop cover works perfectly and does not leak.  During the restoration, all of the window rubber and door seals were replaced and the windows were tinted.

The paint is in excellent condition with only a few minor rock chips. The Billet Running Boards are painted on the vertical surface to match the fender color.

This classic white, blue and red paint style is complimented with the renowned “Rody” pin striping.
